If you had to leave in a hurry, what could you have ready to grab-and-go? If you are someone that always want to be prepared for emergencies, check out this list to see what things you can have ready to grab-and-go.

  • Water
  • Food, a supply of non-perishable food
  • Battery-powered or hand crank radio
  • Flashlight and extra batteries
  • First aid kit (with everything that it contains)
  • Whistle to signal for help
  • Moist towelettes, garbage bags and plastic ties for personal sanitation
  • Wrench or pliers to turn off utilities
  • Manual can opener for food (if you choose to have food)
  • Maps of where you might be in the world

  1. Hey Lea,
I feel like people purposefully leave out these two very important things when thinking of survival equipment. You’ll always need some Duck Tape and a Swiss Army knife.
